How To Brine A Whole Turkey

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion

  • 1 head of garlic Thyme and Scallions

  • 2 Cups salt

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3 tbsp ALLSPICE BERRIES

Directions

  • Bring 1 gallon of water to boil. Add all ingredients and cover with stove off. Wait until naturally cools or cools by adding ice and cold water slowly. When brine liquid is cool, place in a bucket or container of choice. Submerge the turkey and let it brine for at least 24 hours.
